Internet Explorer supports RSS feeds which provides scheduled updates to web content and offline reading of this content. Offline Favorites-Offline Favorites and Scheduled Offline Favorites have been removed from Internet Explorer 7.Dit zijn volgens de ontwikkelaars de wijzigingen in IE7 RC1: Bezitters van een legale Windows-versie kunnen de release candidate hier neerhalen. Volgens webontwikkelaars zitten er nog heel wat haken en ogen aan de huidige renderengine van Microsoft browser, maar toch is men in Redmond niet van plan daar nog grote wijzigingen in aan te brengen voor IE7 in het laatste kwartaal van dit jaar vrijgegeven wordt.
Hoewel Microsoft beseft dat het nog heel wat werk voor de boeg heeft om de CSS-standaard correct te ondersteunen, zal dat nog niet voor de eerste definitieve versie van IE7 zijn. IE7 RC1 is featurecompleet, wat betekent dat er geen grote wijzigingen meer gepland zijn en enkel nog bugs opgelost zullen worden. De ontwikkelaars van het IE7-team hebben een eerste release candidate van deze software vrijgegeven.
